detox regimen
1) Fresh (not frozen) fruits and vegetables (raw or steamed)
2) No meat/fish/dairy/alcohol/spices (not even salt and pepper)/nightshade vegetables/processed and refined foods/caffeine/sugar/nuts/sauces and salad dressings/candies/packaged snacks/self-administered medications (e.g. aspirin)
3) Proper food combining - fruits should be eaten as a meal on its own (they shouldn't be combined with anything else - which means my kale/banana/berry smoothies are out the door!). However, I can combine carbohydrates, legumes but only lentils, grains and vegetables together. Why is food combining important? To maximize proper digestion and utilization of the food nutrients.
