i think it's about time that i start planning my trip to india, otherwise i'll never end up going...i'm not exactly sure how long i'll go for but i'm thinking at least a month in 2009. i have some ideas of where to visit in india but wanted to get your thoughts...do you have any suggestions or a favourite spot in india?
I have the perfect place - my client/friend just finished doing a Panchakarma (detox therapy) there and the Ayurvedic doctor who ran it was very gifted and good energy... the only place I would recommend (and probably ever will). I'll send the web address as soon as I get it.
I'm new to this site, but I travelled to India in January 2009 - we went to Goa on a fantastic intensive Yoga retreat.
I'm wondering if you have planned or have done already your trip!
yes, i just got back from india! it was a wonderful 2 1/2 weeks there. spent most of our time in the north and a little bit in the south (kovalum) but unfortunately didn't go to goa. i'd love to learn more about the yoga retreat in goa that you went to - did you do a certification there?
After 24 year I am here in India, and guess what? I have being to Lakshman Jula in Risikesh and has a great energy, if you are interested in spiritual places...
Right now I am in Kolkatta, and I will be traveling soon to Navadwipa and Mayapur, so if anybody knows about a good course or asram, let is know.
I find India so extensive that with 6 months I can only visit few places, so I have to come back next Kartik month.
PD: Puri is also good, there are very ancient temples and holly places, also is good to go to Vrindavan, and see where was spoken the Bhagavad Gita :)
